1. General Information
By submitting an application to 262 Founder Pitch, hosted by the Kenosha Innovation Neighborhood (KIN), you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Participation is voluntary and subject to eligibility requirements and the discretion of the organizers.
2. Eligibility
Participants must:
Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
Be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or legally authorized to receive funds in the U.S.
Submit a completed application by the published deadline.
KIN reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any participant who fails to meet these criteria.
3. Prize Disbursement & Taxes
Cash prizes may be awarded to selected winners. To receive a cash prize, winners must:

4. Liability Waiver
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the event and release the Kenosha Innovation Neighborhood, its staff, affiliates, sponsors, judges, and volunteers from any and all claims of liability, including but not limited to:
This waiver is binding upon you, your heirs, successors, and assigns.
5. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
Participants retain full ownership of any intellectual property (IP) they present. However:
This is a public event, and confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
Judges, staff, and attendees will not be asked to sign NDAs.
You are responsible for withholding any proprietary information you do not wish to make public.
6. Media & Publicity Release
By applying and participating, you grant KIN and its partners the right to:
Photograph, film, or record your participation.
Use your name, image, likeness, and voice in promotional and educational materials, including social media, websites, press releases, and more.
You waive any right to inspect or approve final media content and understand that no compensation is provided for such use.
7. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to act respectfully and professionally. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will result in disqualification and removal from the event.
8. Agreement
By submitting the application, you confirm that, you have read, understood, and agree to these terms & conditions, all information you provide is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
